I've downloaded and installed Email2Case, it seems to work quite well.
One question though: every time a new email is converted to a case, an activity is automatically created and assigned to the person whose login name and password is used in Email2Case settings.
How can I make Email2Case to _not_ create this activity?

Well, one of the reasons for create an email to case feature is to take advantage of the built extras such as activity history recording. You could certainly create cases by hand for an email. It is essentially an all or nothing prop, either you get all the workflow that is in the app or you do it manually and get none.
