Why is the domain url is changing? And what is the salesforce domain url environment?

Hi,

What is the https://c.cs14.visual.force.com represents for my salesforce organisation. What is its environment. Any why the domain url is changing to https://c.cs14.visual.force.com when I open any visualforce page.

Please let me know why is this changing and what exactly it denotes?

Hi,

I think somebody has created domain name for your organization. Please check.

Goto >> Administrative Setup >> Company Profile >> My Domain >>

check for the domian name whether it is empty or somebody has created the domain name.

https://c.cs14.salesforce.com is the default domain url for sandbox environment for the pacific zone. And for the Asia zone ap1 is the default url for developer/production environment.
And my question is in our personal information if we change the time zone and locale why does the url does not change. Ofcourse it might get change while creating the salesforce account with respect to the IP address. And for visualforce page the url changes to https://c.cs14.visual.force.com. Can anyone find a solution for this?
