How can i add my personal domain to perticular site domain in salesforce?

Hi,

 

I understand that you have purchased your domain (www.neomedix.com) so you would be able to configure this domain if you login to the site from where you purchased it.

 

What you need to do is setup redirect for your domain such that when someone goes to www.neomedix.com they are redirected to your force.com site.

 

To make this happen, you will have to make a  CNAME entry in your domain control panel at the site from where you purchased your domain.

 

For e.g. if you got your domain from godaddy - you need to follow the steps mentioned in the link below: 

http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/7921/adding-or-editing-cname-records to get the redirect working.

Please go through the following two points from the doc  and let me know if you have the access to configure a similar redirection for your domain as I think this should meet the need.

 

  1. Register your branded Web address with a domain name registrar, such as GoDaddy.com. For this example, let's say you registered www.acme.com. Once you register the domain, you can also register subdomain names, such as support.acme.com, partners.acme.com, developers.acme.com.
  2. Create CNAME records with your registrar to point your top-level domain and your subdomains to your Force.comdomain. In this example, create CNAME records to point from:
    • acme.com to acme.force.com
