Eric Fortenberry When we bcc an email it is added to salesforce as a task with the default type of call. I would like to have it be saved as the email type, but for some reason I can't get the setting to change. Has anyone has this issue? Any ideas how to get these saved as task type email? Thanks!
Did you try to set the "Send Email Default" value for the task type?
Go to Setup | Customize | Activities | Task Fields | Type
Under that set the "Send Email Default" flag to the picklist value you want it to be
I am trying to, but whenever I click save it wlll not accept and save the data. I have a feeling this is the way to do it, just don't know why I can't save it.
