How to convert $ currency into rupee

Hi,

We are selecting currency datatype for cost which is formula field so how to convert  Dollar to rupees

HariDineshHariDinesh

Hi,

IN SF you can only one currency type throughout the organization.

If I understand you correctly

You have once field cost which is of type Formula/currency in $.

Now you want to calculate that value in terms of rupees. Rit?

If Yes,

You can simply achieve this using one more formula field.

If you select that formula return type as currency then it also become $ format.

so consider one formula field which return type is Number, and now calculate the value in Rupees and name it Accordingly.

If you contact salesforce they can enable multiple currencies for your organisation, which depending on your needs can give a lot more advantages then using formula fields.
