Problem in understanding outbound changeset

Can I migrate UserTerriotry from Full-copy sandbox to Production.

 

If Yes, please help me.

 

I have users with identical salesforce id's but not identical for Terriotry in Full-Copy and Production.

 

Please help me.?

Hello,

 

Yes you can migrate Terrirtories from sandbox to production using changesets.

 

Saleforce IDs are unique so i don't understand how come the Ids are identical. Could you please explain with example.

My Production and Full-Copy Sandbox userid are identical because i created Sandbox after creating Users in Production.

 

So i think thats the reason why Userids are identical.

 

But when I created territory and then tried to migrate from Full-Copy to production then Territoryids are different.

 

I have other doubt that Can we migrate Custom fields data from Full-Copy to Production.

If Yes,Please guide me.

Yes you are right the territories were created on sandbox so they will have new IDs.

 

Regarding the migration of Custom field data, you can do it either via

 

1) Import Wizard

 

or

 

2) Data loader.
