APEX DATA LOADER on HP-UX Operating System

Hi All,

 

Can I get any information on running Apex Data Loader using CLI on HP-UX Operating System ?

 

I have never used HP-UX OS and not sure If it is feasible or not to configure Data Loader using CLI on this syste,.

 

I believe some of you people having experience with this OS and salesforce.

 

Please reply with your inputs.

DataLoader is a java based tool, so it should work on any environment that supports Java 5.

 

That being said, we haven't tested it, so we make no guarantees that it does work.

We are also at the same stage, As per documents it should work but we dont have any tested results over HP-UX OS.

 

Please let me know if you have some more verified information on this.

Right, what I'm trying to say is that I work for salesforce and we haven't tested DL on HP-UX and have no plans to.  It should work, but you might run into issues and they'll be unsupported unless you can reproduce those issues in Windows.  Sorry!
