Decommissioning on Email
Hi,
In case the email used for creating a user record gets decommissioned, is there any impact on authentication?
Example:
A user record has email as example@domain.com
Now, if the 'domain.com' domain is decommissioned, how will it affect our authentication in Salesforce.com?
Thanks,
Euclid
Email is not used for SFDC accounts, it is just the default username. The SFDC user will still be able to login to SFDC (as long as their user account is active), but they won't get any email notifications (like password reset), since the email address on their SFDC User record will no longer be valid.
Thanks JeffM for the quick reply. :)
