Remedyforce vs service cloud

Can anybody tell me difference between buying Service Cloud license vs buying Remedyforce license app from appexchange?Which has more features?Why service cloud is still offered when salesforce has tield with BMC for this app?

Seems like the solutions overlap quite a bit.  Can you provide a feature compare matrix?  Perhaps that will make it more clear.

Pity you do not put a real comparison - it would be nice to see the overlap and the service gaps. Service Cloud, IMHO, is the Salesforce solution for Customer Service Management (ie. Field Services, ...) while Remedyforce lays its focus on IT Service Management within an IT operational area.
