Force.com IDE Error While Creating a New Class

I am getting error "Unable To Check Apex Class Permissions" while trying to create a new class in Eclipse.

 

I have Eclipse Galelio Version 3.5.2 and Java 6.

 

Please can any one suggest/help in resolving this issue.

Hi,

 

Are you using system admin credentials to connect to your org through IDE?

 

Also check that you are not trying to connect to production org :D

Yes I am using the system admin and I am trying to connect to sandbox.

Have you tried removing all the components from the refresh and adding them back again ?
