Change Default Opportunity Close Date for Lead Conversion

I need to change the default Opportunity Close Date for Lead conversion to 30-days from the conversion date.  I found instructions for using a workflow rule, but I'm on Professional Edition and do not have the ability to create workflow rules.  Does anyone know how or if this can be done?

Thank you,

Shalay

Not on Professional Edition. That's (one) reason why Enterprise Edition costs more-- automation.

This can be done via Managed Packages ... Develop the code ..may be trigger for this in Dev org., create a ,managed package, deploy on PE... see if that works....

Apex Code only runs in a managed package in Professional Edition if it has been "blessed" by a successful Security Review. Therefore, the time to implement this is approximately five weeks. At least it's free, though.

Where do I find a managed package?

You have to develop the managed package in your developer org.
