Need Lead ID in merge field

Hello,

Is there is any way to merge Lead Id with URL on web tab?

as i created custom web tab and opening a lead activity report at my end.
what i need that when ever any lead is selected on sales force.
so i should know the Lead Id(which lead is selected) and on the basis of selected lead i can show the report running at my local server.


it's very urgent...

not with a webtab, but you can with a custom link, this would appear as a link on the lead detail page. see customize -> leads -> buttons and links.

Hi Simon,
 
I have one problem while merging LeadID in custom button and Link.
 
i crated custom link for Lead. and passing LeadID in query string it's like ...... mysite.com/default.aspx?LeadID={!Lead.Id}
 
when click on custom link it not pass the correct lead id of selected lead..
 
i have Lead it's id is '00Q4000000IrobNEAR'
 
but from custom link it's pass '00Q4000000IrobN' i dont know why it's remove the last 3 didgits from all  lead id's..may for security reson?
 
please let me know it's happening.
