jarfile error while installing force.com IDE

I am getting this error when I am trying to download and install Force.com IDE for Vista 32 bit.

Invalid or corrupt jarfile C:\Users\Jaya\Desktop\force.

How do I resolve this issue?

That happens to me too regardless which file one is downloading. Maybe this is a temporary issue. You might try to download it using a download manager. This in fact worked for me
