Solution Object for external users

Hi,


We created one community in Salesforce and expose Solution object to external users.

The license we are using is "Partner Community". Currently external users are able to view solutions but are not allowed to create new solution.

Is it possible to give create permission of Solution object to external users? If yes, could you please tell me how?

As per design external users can get only read access on Solution. Refer: https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewHelpDoc?id=users_understanding_license_types.htm&language=en_US

 

I would suggest you to post this idea on idea exchange with business case if you wish to have such functionality in near future. Link:
