Allow Reparent is not work

Hi,

     Actually i have 2 objects namely A & B in master detail relationship.i enabled Allow reparenting to change the parent but it doesn't work.pls help me.

if i change the parent also taking old parent only not taking new parent

Well probably you have a trigger or something. ELse you would have encountered a error.
I guess you wouldn't be able to see the field in edit mode if the ALLOW reparenting is not checked.

SO my guess there is a trigger
