We built our own Slack-Salesforce integration called Centro (https://slack.com/apps/ASTC9G23C-centro) for sending SMS and email from within a Slack Channel to a Salesforce Lead. You can use a slack command to show you a list of open leads assigned to you within Slack. After selecting a lead you can create a new Slack channel and send templetized SMS or email to the Salesforce lead, merging in data from Salesforce. In that channel you will be notified when the lead opens, clicks, or replies to your message. You can then update your lead status once you have qualified the lead. We found. that using slack channels helps Sales team collaborate on messaging with their propsects.
This is just the beginning for Centro - we plan to expand our Salesforce functionality in to additional use-cases in the future. Please check out our website to install it for free (https://www.centro.rocks/#sf).
