Force.com IDE Installation

While installing the force.com IDE i will get a error JVM Terminated and some other information displayed.

 

What should i do now to resolve this issue?

 

Please anyone help me...

JDK and JRE version must be 6 sth, there are kind of problems wheater you success to install ide iin JDK and JRE 7  remove all Java installination from your computer,using Control Panel and setup the JDK and JRE 6 sth. Then you can select the proper type of ide here

Please check that you have installed Java in your machine ??? It is updated???

Can you post the error code that the JVM terminated with?  I've seen this before when there wasn't enough memory allocated to the JVM, so you might want to check your eclipse.ini (assuming you are on windows).

 

Other reasons can include trying to run a 32 bit JVM on a 64 bit machine.

Thank you . I had Java 6 and Java 7 on my 32 bit windows machine . I uninstalled Java 7 and it worked like charm.
