How to get all the currently Logged in users

Hi
 
Is there actually any way to get the no of currently logged in users either they have directly loggen in to salesforce or have logged in using the API or else if there is some way to compute that. I have only found LASTLOGINDATE field but again this will only tell me the login time but not the log out time.
 
 
Suggestion will be helpful.

We don't currently have a way to do this.   I've posted this as an idea over on the Idea Exchange, if you want to voice our support for it.
