Certificate chain received from cs1.salesforce.com - failed hostname verification check.
Hi Guyz,
Facing one issue with web service call from a java code.
Here is the exception we are receiving in the logs:
[Security:090504]Certificate chain received from cs1.salesforce.com - 204.14.234.** failed hostname verification check. Certificate contained *.salesforce.com but check expected cs1.salesforce.com
Any idea why we are getting this?
Thanks in advance!

Do you know what we have to do to install the necessary certificates and where can we get it?
Hello Euclide,
You can just go to https://cs1.salesforce.com, and click on little lock symbol to view the certificate. In the server certificate properties, you can check Subject Alternative names section to see what are the domains that are supported by this certificate. The top level certificate should contain a SANs field that lists applicable domains/sites.
