Query Retrieval for a Range of Records

I can't seem to find any mention for querying a range of records. For instance I would like to retrieve only records 1500-1510 of my contacts. Is this type of functionality supported?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi mbeaty,

The range of records type of query implies some kind of sort order which is not supported.  How do you know what records 1500-1510 are?  Does that imply when they where created?  How do you determine the range you want?  What is the use case to support this kind of query?

I'm not asking to put you off, but to determine whether a feature request may or may not be warranted.
