Cannot Modify Managed Component

Setup > Create > Packages > [MyManagedPackage] > Components > View Dependencies

 

I get the following exception:

 

Cannot Modify Managed Component

The component you are attempting to modify is part of a managed package, and cannot be modified.

 

 

Does anybody know why this might happen, and how I might find out which component?

Hi Phil,

 

I think the Managed Packege which you are looking into may be referenced into some class.
So Please try to deactivate the class and then try. i think it may work.
