Preventing from create a Tab for an Object

Hi All,

 

I wish to stop the creating Tab for an particular object.

 

Could you please help some one...

There is no way Tab creation can be restricted, except the org reaches the limitation imposed by SFDC.

Hi,

 

You can do it , While creating a new object you will be prompted to select a Checkbox to create a separate tab for that Object, So do not select this check box.

Hello Sridhar,

In that case we can't restrict permanently, after creation object we can go to App set up-->create-->Tab there we can give created object name.

A tab will create for that object.

Yes you are correct , we cannot stop the tabs to be created permanently.
