Email to case email subject to be copied as case comments

Hi ,

 

We have an Email to case set up in our org to handle salesforce cases(Salesforce issues from business users).

 

We would like to send automatic emails from case submitter when a case is generated.

 

For that we would like to copy the email subject into case comments that way we can merge case comments when sending replies.

 

Any thoughts on how this can be done?

Hi,

 

I did not really get your problem statement, are you saying that you need to read the emails sent to create Cases (in Email-To-Case functionality) or how to send out emails through a program (through apex or some configuration etc)?

 

If the later then suggested links by Ashish should suffice.

I understand that you wish to copy the case subject into case comment? should this happen each time a new case comment is added by eith user or customer?

 

I am checking to see ifthis can be accomplished through trigger..

 

Please elaborate so i can be more specific in giving a solution. .
