edit custom object permission in "Standard platform user" profile

Hi,

 

Can we edit custom object permission in "Standard platform user"  profile, if yes how?

 

Note: I have logged in as admin.

Hi,

 

Normally standard profiles are not editable, because its not a custom profile.

 

If it is made as a custom profile it could be editable for permissions. You can see this option as a check box in profiles.

 

To make a standard profile into custom profile do the following,

  • Go to Setup>Manage users>Profiles>Select Standard Platform User
  • Click on Clone button
  • Give a name for the profile
  • Save

Now, your custom profile is editable as per your wish. Assign this profile to the users you needed.

We cannot edit a Standard profile, you may Clone to a custom Profile and then make the changes.

But what abut if i have Developer Org,
In that after making clone it still not showing any option of custom object permission.

Any idea
