How to use Excel Connector to query list of external IDs?

I have a list of external ID's that I would like to update.

 

Is there anyway in excel connector to query just that list of external ids?  For example 123, 456, 789 ?

I am running into the same problem and I haven't found a resolution.  I spent about 10 minutes trying to find this post on the Excel Connector Forum.
