jboza Is there a way for a HTML template in the email editor to keep its format when stored to the task description field? Text type emails keep most formatting.

Your requirement was not clear. Please eloborate. Formatting in the sense?
Are you want to store email template in task fields?
If so, then you may go for Rich text Area datatype of field rgt?

When you use the send email button from activity object it links to the email editor. This editor allows for precreated templates to be stored for use. If I choose an HTML style template and send it stores in the Task object standard field of comments (Long Text 3200). The issue is the words get jumbled but if the email were just a text based template they store formated.
