hi guys

can we create a lookup relation in user object...if yes how..if no..why

yes. you can create a user lookup on the User object . Click new button under the custom fields section and select Hierarchical Relationship

We can not create Look and Master Detail relationship in User object

  Hierarchical Relationship is not a Look up relation ,To change the users we are using this Hierarchical Relationship
