We are a Salesforce.com team of consultants looking for a Salesforce Administrator who can work virtually with our clients from their home office.  This person must have the ability to get on a call with a client and develop a quick understanding of client business issues.  You need to be able to evaluate a business issue faced by the customer and determine how best to employ salesforce.com to solve that problem.

Core skills would include all basic Salesforce.com Administration tasks and an understanding of all major functional areas of Salesforce.com. Setting up new reports and dashboards, data imports (using data loader or other tools),  and general problem solving skills in Salesforce.com.

A key skill set is being able to design a Visualforce page or trigger to solve a specific client problem. Essentially, you need to know when you could use Visualforce to do things that the client needs which can't be done without coding.

You do not need to be a developer - other individuals in our company will do the actual development.  You should be able to efficiently, effectively and clearly coordinate the work with our development team while managing the client relationship from start to finish. 

This position would start out as a 1099 independent contractor working remotely .  After 3 months, with continued support and evaluation, the position would turn into a full time job with pay + commission.
