How to mass upload salesforce CRM Contents associated with an object?

I enabled Salesforce CRM Contents on my org.

I need to associate 17000 different documents with its accounts.

I upload successfully 17000 documents via dataloader to ContentDocument object but they are not associated as related content to accounts. How can I do that?

Hi Maur,

 

AFAIK, there is no direct relation between Accounts and Related Content such that you can setup an association between the two using any field 

 

There is an existing Idea on the Idea exchangewhich is similar to yours https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=08730000000IQvrAAG which I would encourage you to promote - if you can explain your use case - that would be great so the Product Management team can understand the need and demand.

 

I would also suggest you to go through the workaround mentioned there.
