Building a stand-alone application without requiring customers to use Salesforce CRM

Hi,

Is it possible to build a stand-alone application using Force.com? What I mean is - Is it possible that customers can install an application I built without using the Salesforce CRM service?

Hi,
Yes you can. If you build your app in developer account and make sure you use no standard features and then contact SF about your app they should help you out in getting a Force.com platform.
