package page layouts

Does anybody knows about ability to package page layouts ?

Found some info about that (SalesForce IdeaExchange)http://ideas.salesforce.com/article/show/88019/Package_Page_Layouts_for_Standard_Objects

But seems this is not implemented in winter 9.

Hi,
 
You can package page layouts on Custom Objects - when you add the custom object to your package, the page layouts are automatically added.
 
However, you cannot package custom page layouts on Standard Objects. This is something we hope to implement, but I recommend promoting the idea so we get it prioritized.
