Strange unmanaged package install failure

Hello,

 

I'm experiencing a strange unmanaged package install failure today:

 

Your requested install failed. Please try this again.

None of the data or setup information in your salesforce.com organization should have been affected by this error.

If this error persists, contact salesforce.com Support through your normal channels and reference number: 149955118-1304 (-1360487324)

 

An older version of the same package installs just fine, but I uploaded a new version today, with some updated apex code but the schema remains the same.  This package is kicking the cryptic error message.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Give this another try and see if you are still hitting the issue.  We had a problem around reports yesterday and that affected some package installs.  Should be resolved now.

Remove the namespace references in your trigger in the package, then reupload the package.  Since this is an unmanaged package, you cannot have any namespace references in the contents as the namespace doesn't carry over with unmanaged.

We are experiencing the same error during unmanaged package install. We are not using namespace since its unmanaged pkg. What else could cause this error. Also is there any detailed error logs which could point to the issue

we're experiencing the same issue. we've tried installing a few different managed packages from different partners and all of them are getting this error. The orgs are both trial orgs for non profits but not using NPSP.
