Custom Activity Button

Was wondering if someone can help me with this custom button:

 

/00T/e?who_id={!Contact.Id}&followup=1&tsk5=CHOOSE SUBJECT&retURL=%2F{!Contact.Id}

 

The function is basically "Log a Call" with a different label. What I can't figure out is how it choses which "Completed" value to default with since there is more than one value to close a task in our org.

 

Anyone familiar with this ????

This is just a stab, but I seem to remember there being some kind of a Sort Order somewhere "behind the scenes" in SFDC.  

 

I'm not sure how you can re-sort the values so that your custom button will default to your desired value, but at least that might be a place to start looking.

It will default to the last closed status that you added to the status picklist.  If you want to force it to a specific one, you can add the following to your link: &tsk12="Completed"  -- adding whatever status you want where I ended Completed.
