Installed package usage - adoption

Hello,

I would like to check if there is any way to find out the usage of the Installed packages.

I would like to check which user is using the installed package? Which page layouts use features from custom packages?

Do I have to write any custom query to find out these details?

Thanks

uma

Hi,
Have you looked at the LMA, license management application?
It is an application which allows you to manage packages that have been installed by customers.
It is a free app and can be installed in your org for selling apps:
http://appexchange.salesforce.com/listingDetail?listingId=a0N300000016ZynEAE
I have to tell you though that it does not let you know which specific user has installed your package nor in which layout your custom package component is used but only how many users are using the package.
For additional information search for LMA in the developer.force.com search.
