Send mails using Exacttarget

Hi All, 
 
I am using Salesforce auto-response rules to send an email out, but I would like to do it using Exacttarget instead of Salesforce.
 
Can someone help me?

Hi there,

It is quite powerful to combine ExactTarget email automation capabilities with Salesforce.com data.  You have two choices, you can create buckets of customers based on where they are in the life cycle and create recurring emails to those buckets inside of ExactTarget or you can wire up Salesforce.com workflow engine to the ExactTarget system.
