How to enable fields in a custom object UI view

Hi Folks,

How to enable fields in a custom object , currently iam unable to see the columns in view  part of custom object , so how can i make them enable so the columns can appear.

You have to add them to the page layout in setup. (If you created the fields with the custom field wizard, then at some point it did ask you if you wanted to add the fields to the layout)
