Report: Contacts with No Open or Completed Activities

Is it possible to create a report that shows all the contacts (for accounts) with no activities - completed or open?

Not that I'm aware of. It's reason #1,284 that I love www.forceamp.com - they let you replicate your whole SF database to a local SQL database where you can run any reports you'd want to, including that one, using SQL queries.

Try creating a Custom Report Type...you tie two tables together...Contacts & Activities. Be sure to check the box that offers results with or WITHOUT the Activities. When you run the report you will get both records with and without activities. Sort the report to separate those without activities. Granted, you will have the records with activities in the same report...but if you can live with this, you will get the segment that you need.
