swfupload flex upload with force.com

has anyone successfully integrated a flex upload control with force.com or salesforce.com, I am trying to implement a flex control for file upload (case attachment), please let me know

Not sure but Swfupload allows to upload the files only using any external file like 'upload.php' which process the selected document and upload the doc using salesforce api.

 

Do any body have knowledge to use the swfupload without the help of any external file like 'upload.php'(executes on external server). we don't have any external server to process the selected document and we want to upload the file using only salesforce resources.

I'm surprised the salesforce swc for flex doesn't have a system to handle file uploads. I've been picking through the documentation and I can't find anything.

 

Very frustrating.
