A formula for a workflow rule on Contract (for an alert of its expiry in 6 months)

Hi there!

I would like to create a formula that would be evaluated as True 6 months before the End Date of a Contract. What is the syntax for this?

...End_Date__c - 6 months = today...

I just can´t come with any idea, so I would be really grateful if you helped me.

How about using a Time-dependent workflow and configure that to send an Email Alert 6 months before the End_Date.
