Batch apex and governor limits?

If creating batch apex scripts will i run into governor limits if i do some complex processing i.e. for accounts get a list of opportunities and contacts, aggregate something on each account and update the accounts, opportunities and contacts etc..

Not to be flip, but you will or you won't. You'll certainly need to code specifically to avoid governor limits. This is a big area, and it entirely depends on what you need to do and how you intend to do it. You absolutely need to familiarize yourself with the help topics on governor limits and on writing bulk-safe operations correctly.

The operations you describe certainly CAN be coded to avoid governor limits. But it all depends. If you can offer more details of the operations you want to perform, list members can be more specifically helpful.
