I want a formula if publication code text field equals DWT,DGP,DWP,SRP then update a picklist monthly,one year , 2 years.

I may have understood your question incorrectly, what do you mean my update monthly, yearly? update the picklist value? trigger time based update or set the picklist value to string literal "Monthly".
