Change or customize Approve/Reject Page

Is there a way to make a call to a different page once the Approver either approves or rejects the workItem in his box ?

 

We need to get some more information from the user once with changes based on their action (Approve or Reject).

Hi Simba,

 

Unfortunately, right now there is no way you can over-ride the standard functionality :(

 

In case, you want to do something custom, you have to configure your own custom approval process. I am sure most of us have faced this issue. Probably you can raise an idea for the same!

I have basically done this. I created a VF page with a custom controller to replace the approval screen. I added a button to reach this screen and a VF control on the page to hide the button when no approval was needed. I think that the current links could be remapped using the same technique although I have not done that yet.
