Line number scrolling issue in Mac OS

Has anyone else noticed that line number scrolling broken in Eclipse 3.4 on Mac OS? I did read one blog post that identifies the issue. This makes it EXTREMLY hard to track down errors by line number. Eclipse 3.5 is rumored to work fine.

Can anyone comment on when the Force.com IDE might work with Eclipse 3.5?

Just noticed this issue myself. Reading around the Eclipse community, it seems to be a combination of three things:

- Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6)

- Eclipse 3.4.x

- Running in a second monitor

If you move eclipse to your primary monitor, the lines numbers will scroll just fine and (though you didn't mention this), compile errors, etc will show up.

I second the question: any update on 3.5 compatibility, as I expect this problem will become more widespread as 10.6 adoption increases?

SECOND MONITOR :-) I had missed that linkage and it makes all the difference. So far I do seem to be able to avoid the behavior by staying on the main screen. Thanks very much for the insight!

The problem I belive is due to X11 and Carbon being deprecated in Mountain Lion, causing some of the UI not to function properly.

I upgraded to Eclipse 3.6, which uses Cocoa, and I am not getting the scrolling issue anymore.

Cheers
