Not able add new field to Account object

hello All,

 

I am not able to add a new custom fields to Account object. Did I messup my account somewhere / is it something else ?

 

I clicked, stepup -> App Setup -> Accounts -> Fields. Here I donot see an option to add new fields, although I can edit and replce some of the already existing fields.

If you have permission to do it you should just scroll down and see the new button.

 

Also, this isn't related to apex and really should have gone into the general discussion boards!

I created the account and I am the system admin for it. I assume that role should have all the permissions. Any thoughts on this ?

 

Also sorry I just realized that its in a wrong bucket, I am not able to find the way to move this diccussion, so creating a new thread in "genral" category.
