But is there a Developer Preview version available? I'd like to create a trigger at the new API level so it can do a summary calculation and then update another object, and I believe the only way to create a trigger is through Eclipse.
You can also create a trigger or class directly in the UI in a Sandbox or Developer instance.
Just go to the object you want to create the trigger on in the setup, and select the Trigger menu item.
You should have a "New" button that you can use to launch a simple editor.
At least to get you started.
