unable to configure eclipse for salesforce

 I have newly installed eclipse Unable to see File > New > Force.com Project in eclipse there are several other projects but I dont see force.com project

1)In the eclipse go to help->softwareupdates->click on add site and put this URL

 

2) http://www.adnsandbox.com/tools/ide/install/

Thanks for your reply when I do the steps you suggested I get one more error message.

 

Force.com IDE (16.0.0.200906151227)

 requires plug-in "org.apache.xerces (2.0.0)", or compatible.
