Queues on Contacts !!!

Hi

 

I want to assign a owner in queue on the contact record. There are no queues on the contact object. How can I do this. ???

 

 

Please help..!! Any help is appreciated.

to best of my knowledge, You cannot create queues for Contact Object. Queues are available only for Leads, cases or custom objects.

Why is that you need a queue for contacts?

I do not leverage the leads, cases etc....I know the queues are present for the custom object but not for the account and contact object because both are in master-detail relationship.

 

I need to assign the queues to the contact record, such that when an owner is assigned in an round robin basis....as an example...

 

I have 5 users. then the 1st user is assigned as the owner to the first contact record created, then 2nd one to the second contact record and etc....and again the 6th contact record has the owner as the 1st user in the queue.....

 

I was thinking if there is some way in apex ....that I can use...I am not sure....
