What is APEXP?
Hi there!
I wondering what the apexp extension means.
I have seen some apps referring to an unknown URL. For example:
https://na?.salesforce.com/nexpath/nexpathmembers.apexp?id=a0?A0000002abc1&retURL=/a0?A0000002abc1
What is nexpath? A namespace prefix?
What is nexpathmembers.apexp? I don't see any VF page with that name. In fact, there is no VF at all.
Thanks, JDL
apexp is the file extension for standard salesforce UI pages that were written in Visualforce. another example of this is many pages in teh setup area, and salesforce knowledge. the other stuff, not sure.

Exactly, .apexp is the extension for visualforce pages, rather than .jsp for some of the older java pages. User-defined visualforce pages have some URL rewriting to just /apex/pageName, while system pages don't always have this URL rewriting set up.
Thanks to all!
