System admin cannot create/edit trigger & class today! Strange!

Our salesforce is enterprise edition and my account's profile is system admin. I go to system write trigger & class everyday.

 

When I login system today, I cannot find 'create' & 'edit' button in the trigger page (also class page)!

 

It's so strange! What can I do to solve the problem??

Make sure your profile has "Author Apex" permission checked.

Config wise you seem to be ok. I suggest you take salesforce's premier support help.

you should only be able to edit apex code in sandboxes and developer edition orgs.  can you confirm you're having this issue in a non-production org?  regardless of whether it was possible before, it isn't supposed to be, in a production org.

I ran into this issue recently. I was able to resolve it by making sure that the currect app/tab I was on also inclued the sobject in which the trigger or class was on.
