alchemy record type page layout
how do i create a layout associated for a a record type..
can i get the steps for it...
I have 3 record Types for a custom object and i have created different layouts. On the click of the link on the link on the main the record type layout gets displayed. but i am not getting the layout fo the same on execution. what shld i do for it?
you have to assign page layouts for each record type you created. By default the master page layout is assigned for each record type.
You can assign page layout at
Object >> Page Layout >> Page Layout Assignment (a related list button).

what are you trying to say?
i have created 3 record types... and 3 different layouts which i want to associate with each record type. i am not able to do that... can i get some help on it..
Did you try this?
Create-->Object-->Scroll Down to Record Types section.
Click on Page Layout Assignment and do the changes required.
i have done dat but still not able to see the page layout dat i have associated with the record type
